I can remember when the Arctic Monkeys were just starting out. They didn't have much money and were often asking their friends to buy them drinks etc. It was great to read that the bands guitarist Jamie Cook has just splashed out and bought a property in London for Two Million Pounds. The property is currently getting some refurbishments done to it. this is prior to Jamie and his girlfriend moving in. Mind you the Arctic Monkeys have sold many records since they started off, Their last album AM won two Brit awards. The band has one heck of a great drummer in Matt Helders. Check the band out by simply going to their website www.arcticmonkeys.com
Are a band from Liverpool and making a great name for themselves on the Live Music Circuit. I am a firm believer in, if you put in the hard work of practicing and rehearsing. The rewards i.e gig's etc will follow. The Sugarmen have been working on the recent Paul Weller Tour. Which started this week. Opening the show's and going down very well. They have recorded a new single at Paul Weller's Recording studio with non other than the great Mick Jone (Clash) producing. They have also got some superb gig's lined up for later on in the year when they support Blur and also The Who. I would urge you all to get behind this great band of youngsters and check out their stuff. By simply going to www.facebook.com/sugarmen and also www.soundcloud.com/sugarmen
Hello and Welcome to this piece. I would like to say how sorry I am for not updating my website recently. The reason being that I have accepted voluntary redundancy from my job as the manager of a very busy youth centre. I have been working here in the South as a youth worker since 1989. I am sad to say that due to Government Cut's. Youth centres are being closed all over the country.
